A Long Time Coming

So life for Bryant, Danielle, and Belly has been pretty eventful the last couple of weeks. Well maybe not so much for Belly. We found that he really enjoys mud. Super.

Notes from March:

We started off a week and a half vacation on 3/11 day, hanging out with friends, playing Rock Band 2, and of course listening to every 311 song ever. We headed to Chicago the next day for a long weekend of hanging out with some college friends, walking around the city, seeing sites, and celebrating St. Patty's Day the Chi-Town way: drinking heavily. We returned home and spent the rest of the week recovering. Luckily, Danielle had Spring Break and I had paid time off (it was a week long recovery).

Sorry ladies, the rumors are true. I asked Danielle to be my wife on Wednesday, March 18th and against her better judgment she said.....YES! Preliminary reports from the fiance-front tell me that our wedding will be sometime late summer of 2010, but nothing set in stone as of yet so keep tuned for more later.

Played in a St. Patty's golf tournament with Dad, Shaun, and Brian Gaul. We didn't play our best, didn't stick around to see the results, but everyone is a winner with the fail-proof combination of golf + beer + outside + beer + golf + beer.

We finally had some weather in the form of severe high winds which meant I actually had to work upon my return to the real world :(

Celebrated Laura DeHaemer's (soon to be Schmidt) birthday by watching Kansas defeat Dayton in the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney at Sharks in Shawnee. Cole Aldrich recorded KU's first official triple double. Sherron and Cole: ONE MORE YEAR!!!! Lance Stephenson: COME ON DOWN!!!!

Watched Kansas bow out of the NCAA tourney against Michigan State in the Sweet 16 w/ Whit & Shaun. I yelled at the TV a lot. Perhaps taught Baby Fuller her first words? Time will tell. Sorry Whit!

Enjoyed the freak ice storm on Saturday. Didn't leave the house or do anything at all. It was splendid.

Met with Mom, Grandma Ostmeyer and all the Ostmeyer Aunts and Uncles at IHOP on Sunday for breakfast. Good to see everyone.

Enjoyed watching Tiger come from 5 back to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational today. Awesome to see Tiger back on top of his game. Can't wait for the Masters.

About all for now. Left plenty out, most probably not family friendly anyway.
